With an average attendance of 19,042, fans from the New York/New Jersey area and other parts of the world flocked to Red Bull Arena to watch the New York Red Bulls, Tottenham Hotspur, Sporting CP, and Manchester City compete in the three-day tournament.
Despite Saturday's 2-0 loss to the Columbus Crew, Red Bull fans have a lot to be estatic about. After a disastrous 2009 MLS campaign, the Red Bulls have turned things around. As a result, the 2010 New York Red Bulls are currently in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 8-6-2 record.

Dear Red Bulls Fans: It is with great honor that we officially announced the signing of one of global soccer’s greatest players, Thierry Henry, earlier today. Thierry brings a pedigree that a very select few can match. We are confident that acquiring a player of Thierry’s caliber is a giant step forward in our ultimate goal of winning an MLS Cup Championship not only this year, but for years to come.
Congrats Spain for winning the World Cup for the first time. Thank you for reminding us that the ingredients for a successful soccer team consists of excellent goalkeeping, teamwork in moving the ball, and solid defense. Thank you for reminding us is that it doesn't matter how many goals a team scored in a previous game if they're unable to score at a current one. More importantly, thank you for giving us a new World Cup Champion!
